I think I picked up this bag from Rural King or Walmart, went all the way across the dash from speaker to speaker.

Was just saying that my rattle sounds like its coming from the dash all the time, but it really wasn't. I was pushing on my dash and the noise was still driving me crazy.

When i was working at a shop we used crafters FELT in different thicknesses between the panels.. just either squeeze it in, or if you can glue it in place.. squeeks and small rattles go away.. first you must identify the 2 offending panels that make the squeek/rattle... place felt between the 2, take a drive and verify the repair.. pull the easier of the 2 panels, and glue in a strip of felt.. END OF STORY..

I put a piece of foam between the passenger side A pillar and the tweeter. I drove to work this morning and it was nice a quiet. I am going to keep testing until Saturday when I take it to the shop. They get three shots to fix it and then I am invoking the lemon law.

Just picked it up. The dealer didnt fix anything AFTER I told them it was a known problem. Along with my window rattle and transmission that shifts like its on meth

I guess ill shove some home depot weatherstripping down the dash of my brand new truck and look into trade in options

every single vehicle out there has issues like this... trade in your truck for a squeaky panel.... why?.. this happens to all makes/models of every vehicle. due to cold/heat cycles the plastic panels get mis-shapen. they will squeak a bit.. until either you, or the dealer takes steps to remedy it... as I described FELT is used in some cases on factory vehicles to quiet any rubbing panels..

i RECOMMEND NOT TO USE FOAM, AS IT BREAKS DOWN OVER TIME (ESPECIALLY WHEN EXPOSED TO UV LIGHT), AND WILL MAKE A MESS, AND EVENTUALLY SQUEAK AGAIN..

I would definitely trade in your truck because of a plastic dash rattle. Heck I’d even suggest trading it in if it ran out of gas.

Hahaha dude I had the same exact thing for a month. I just could not figure it out until one day I looked up and popped that thing open and took my sunglasses out. I was like son of a bitch!
