Here I am again, now getting a bit tired of the shaking of my HID Morimotos. I've exchanged a few emails with their customer service, who advised to switch the right to the left, to use the original grommets, even sent me better, stiffer grommets to no avail...they still shake...a lot!. I want to hear from you if you have found a simple solve for this...I really don't want to go through the pain of installing new relays and ballasts to go to another system if there are simpler ways to solve. Let me know if you have tried different HID bulbs with the Morimoto setup, and which ones did you use.

    Thanks!

Its apparently not the bulbs but how The projectors have been made, the mounts are thinner than most. I have cured this issue by stealing some seals off of 9005/9006 bulbs and putting them on the H11 hid bulbs, be very ginger putting them back in.

GE power bulbs +130 halogens work great. HIDs are meant for our stock head light housing anyway.

Mine shake a bit. More so now that I lifted my truck. But they only shake when I really hammer a bump or pot hole so I don't care right now. I do wonder if as they age it will get worse.

My XenonDepit kit had the shakes (not Phillips), and the GE +130 h11 halogens i replaced them with are close enough in brightness that I’m happy.

XenonDepot's shake also. Confirmed with 4300k bulbs and 5000k. Pretty sure its our housing that shakes enough for when we put in brighter bulbs in it's noticeable.

Inferior HID's that are not designed for Halogen housings... move back to higher quality Halogen bulb and be done with it.

I'm not experiencing shaking in the Xenon bulbs on my 16 housing. The morimotos shook more than Michael J Fox trying to pour a cup of coffee .

I just installed these GE +130 H11 in my truck. How much brighter were the HID's?

Sadly no. Every other day there’s a new thread asking which LEDs or HIDs for my headlights.

Or just do an actual retrofit and do it right.

Using a light meter app on my phone, the HID's were about only 15% brighter at the hotspot than the standard Phillips H9's I ran before the GE's. They were definitely more white in color and definitely had more side illumination, but the color wasn't great outside of the hotspot. Even with a 4300k kit they seemed very blue to me especially to the sides and were blinding, to me, in blowing snow.
