    Hi Everyone,

I’ve been stalking for a while and I’m hoping to pull the trigger soon, but I’m hoping for some advice before I do. Below is the deal I’m looking at and I’d like to know if this is in line with what others have been paying.

2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4 double cab, short bed, with no packages and only all weather liners in cement gray. For context, I’m in Ohio and I’ve spoken to about 10-15 dealers near me.

MSRP: $37,758 with a sales price of $34,431. Toyota offers a $1,000 rebate plus $500 in Presidents Day cash so I’m at $32,931 purchase price plus tax (8%)/title/fees etc.

    Take the deal?

At this time of year, that's a good deal. At the end of a model year, it's about average.

Sweet thanks everyone. Just wanted to confirm my suspicions. I’m gonna take the deal!

You are taking advantage of everything available except end of month stealer push for sales discount. Good job!

That is a very good deal for the package and color. The extra $500 Presidents day rebate is a nice bonus.

Yes, somewhere around 10% off MSRP is a good deal.

Keep in mind now, what you pay is only half the battle. Watch out for bullshit like VIN Etching, Permanent Wax, etc etc.

Yeah it’s essentially a stock 2019 and no military discount for me. The extra $500 is a Presidents Day offer that I’ve lucked into by being hesitant to agree to anything.

Update: the dealer that gave me the price I listed gave me a shitty trade in value for my current car. I took the deal I listed and went to another dealer I’ve been working with and was able to reduce my otd cost by $1,200.

The new truck has the all weather liners, exhaust tip (I don’t even know what this looks like) and mudguards. The MSRP is $37,977. I was able to get a sales price of $34,110 (about 9% off MSRP) and rebates of $1,500 for a final price of $32,610 for the 2019 TRD Off Road AT DCSB in cement. Going in today to discuss financing.

The original dealer said they could finance me at 4.6%. I said no and got them to 3.62% through Cap 1. Hoping to get better than that at the new dealer.

Do you have a good relationship with your bank? I was able to get a much better rate than what the dealership was offering by securing my own financing

It's a good deal. The $34,110 is exactly what I paid for mine with a tonneau cover.

You could get the 3.9 special apr, but you can’t combine that with the $1,000 rebate. I was able to get 3.6% apr for a 5 year term. Not great/not terrible
