I got the valentines card yesterday at Dollar General. 1.05$. we just go out to eat this weekend. and told the boys to use protection as the Rut in Nov. is 9 months away

Yep! I know lots of people with a Bachelor's of... <whatever> working minimum wage jobs and asking, "Ya' want fries with that?" but I don't know ANYONE in the trades who doesn't work as much as he wants to, including apprentices AND pull down some damn good coin.

 

Just people doing people things. You know when you don't think people can get any dumber, they always manage to exceed your expectations...
I think part of it is me, as my tolerance for dumb f-ing people is getting less as I get older...oh, yeah and couple that with the pc bullshit that is rammed down your throats at every turn, just gets a bit much some days...

my FIL was an industrial electrican. he tried like hell to teach me and i was too wild in my younger days to take his advice. my loss!! a trade like that and the job opertunitys are endless.

I was hired on by a big commercial electrical contractor in Phoenix Arizona .I was a Underground electrician doing all the underground electrical such as wiring transformers and switch gear . I also did underground feed wire pulls

 

Calls for 60* tommorow and then snow/sleet Sat and Sun. went up and got a dozen chicken thighs,marinating in Speedys tonite and throw on the cooker tommorow. they dont take that long , may put a rack of ribs on too so will have good eatin for the weekend.hope it snows like crazy. honey doo list will be shorter
