In 2018, due to the 'rarity' of cement, it was tough to get it below MSRP, maybe $500 below at most. It's a much more common color now. $32k is great IMO.

Toyota doesn’t offer very good rates on the Tacoma’s. Much better luck going to a credit union

They had 2018’s at 1.9% recently. Saved me $1500 over the $1000 rebate. I made them find me a 2018 or no deal

I got 0% from Toyota 5 days ago. I think that's pretty damn good, no?

SouthEast Toyota offering 0% 36 month; 1.9/48; 2.9/60; 3.49/72 right now on all 2019 Tacomas (except TRD Pros)

Doesn't exist other than on paper. It just means you paid too much for the truck; they made all the 'interest' buried in the price.

Trade in allowances and dealer financing are just big money makers, just like all the add ons that people complain about not wanting.

The goal is to get someone comfortable with the payment, not the final price of the vehicle.

Arrange your own financing and sell your old ride yourself, and you'll wind up knowing exactly what you are paying for your purchase.

Yes, dealers have many ways to make money, but your statement is way too broad, as it may sometimes (even often) be accurate, but not always.

By your logic, all cash buyers with no trade and anyone who gets a 0% interest rate with no trade "paid too much for the truck". That's just plain wrong.

Then put some money down, or finance it for 48 months at 1.9% or 60 months at 2.9%. Still very good rates.

You said I "paid too much" b/c 0% interest only exists on paper. Then you talk about dealers making money in other ways like trades and add-ons.
So, if someone gets 0% (which I did) and has no trade.... then thry (like me) "paid too much" for their Tacoma according to your logic and your actual statement.

That's true. Because they collected the 'interest' of the true loan value in the price of the vehicle.

If you had not financed with them, a lower price should have been available.

That's not true because they make money off selling loans. The cash price, or securing outside financing, is usually higher

Picked up the truck last night and I love it. Already bought the Bumpershellz to cover the chrome. Considering the Truxedo lopro tolling bed cover. Any thoughts on the bed cover?

Just snagged my leftover 2018 OR DCSB for $33800 incl. TTL (SC is pretty cheap)

I think that's a pretty good deal. Paired with 2.99% financing for 72 months from my local credit union.

    Like, so many.
Good deal and great looking truck. I would have gotten that color had it been available. Now start modding!
