I snagged a pellet smoker this time around. Should get more use this way. Turn on, set, and let'er rip.

    Used wood, charcoal, etc.

    Mesquite, and hickory mostly.

When you say pellet, would I use the same pellets I run in. Y pellet stove for winter heating, or flavored pellets to heat and flavor the item being cooked

I understand your view completely and working in the medical field, most people feel the same way since taxes are significant for most of these people. I also enjoy a nice gun or two but I stay away from that topic since I think NRA can be too far fetched on some of their beliefs.

The national debt is a joke. The problem I see is that it’s not real money anymore. It’s gotten to a number that impossible to actually manage. I want to do some more reading into government shutdowns since I know they’re bad for employees of state parks, DOTs, etc but I’d love to have the senate take no pay for some time, how do we make that happen hahaha.

Yes the old gun control debate, let’s actually have a real freaking discussion, not the extremist all the way to each side conversations.

Government shutdown, turned into everyone gets some time off, struggle with ,only till we bring you back, then get paid for the time you were off. At first I thought the government would save money, but I read a few articles that focused on the money the government wasn’t collecting and feel like it cost money to be shut down after reading the articles I did. I would love to truly know if that’s the case, because if the government was profitable we shouldn’t be in debt. So now I a, just confused and think that’s what the government wants.

Wish I didn't have to work tomorrow or I'd be fishing too! I'll be there either tomorrow night or Saturday early. I'll have my brandy new black snowmachine with a big blue Clam flip over in tow.

Yeah I don’t understand how people can truly think absolutely no gun ownership is the right answer and I don’t stand with the NRA who acts like nobody should have a background check and everyone should own machine guns. Unfortunately nothing gets accomplished since they just fight one another and don’t work on a solution.

In the meantime, I want a surpressor for my 9mm

I have also seen a handful of articles saying the government lost a lot of money on the shutdown so I want to investigate that further. Like you said, if the government actually makes money daily, how can we have this astronomical debt. :annoyed:

the ultimate solution is term limits...If we had term limits for senators and reps. Senators presently have a SIX year term...move that to 4 and give them 2 terms (it's good enough for the highest office in the land it's good enough for the senate) Keep the house of reps at 2 years and give them 4 terms. Make all term limits consecutive...so if you sit out an election you can jump back in later...this would allow for more competition and a dissolution of excess campaign funds.

This will stop the influence of lobbyists in the govt and all the dirty money. The money flows to the old crows...And so does the influence of the money. As recently as this January during the shutdown 30 democrats were flown to Puerto Rico and put up in a private resort with 109 lobbyists...and they were ostensibly there to attend a charity performance of Hamilton for hurricane relief....using tickets paid for by the lobbyists...

The lobbying is insane...the money is insane...it's all about term limits...and it will never happen.
In 2018 there were 11,158 registered lobbyists that paid a total of 3.42 billion...
    https://www.opensecrets.org/lobby/

Just some odd food for thought....the biggest opponents to the marijuana legalization laws were - Beer companies, Pharmaceutical companies, FOR PROFIT PRISONS, prison guard unions, police departments and towns...They all fought the legalization because they were going to lose MONEY...

And that's another bullshit thing...FOR PROFIT prisons...that's just insane...profiting off the misery...
and of course publicly traded health insurance companies...WHY THE F$#%CK are health insurance providers forced to turn profits for stockholders at ALL COSTS??? Wouldn't you find it to be perfect if a health insurance company at the end of the fiscal year, after paying all employees and all debtors...made a profit of $1...Wouldn't that mean they were functioning perfectly...providing healthcare at the bare minimum cost while remaining solvent...Instead they raise prices, slash employee compensation, demand higher premiums and build more clerical bloat...all because they need to keep that stock price up...

This is the speech I want my presidential candidate to give...
