    Here's my blonde bombshell...

I had only played one very briefly Saturday, at very low volumes in a mom and pop music shop, but I knew it sounded good. The kid working there was trying to do his job. Once he sleuthed out of me that I was only looking at tube amps, he proceeded to recommend a Roland Blues cube.
I was like: “uh, that’s a solid state amp, dude.” I guess to him, tweed looking = tubes.

First impressions: If this is what the celestion v-type speaker sounds like before a break in, I may have an eargasm when it’s loosened up! The articulation of this amp is really amazing, bringing every nuance of my playing (good, or bad) to the forefront. It’s a really low gain affair, and designed to be a pedal platform. Round, rich sounding notes fill the room when turned up. The larger cabinet must be responsible for the complete absence of boxiness. When I turn the volume up on my 1x12 VHT special 6 ultra, it seems come straight out in a very directional, sledgehammer sort of way. This Blackstar 1x12 seems to saturate the room with powerful sound that is much wider. It reminds me of a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue, but with a much more manageable wattage for home. The ISF control ACTUALLY works quite well. To the left of 12:00 = American fenderish sounds, to the right = full-on British tones, Marshally goodness.
I feel like I now have the amp that can deliver any sound I want to get. If I can’t get there from here, I can only look in the mirror. The rest is in my fingers...

You should do a YouTube review with some jams/different settings.

I couldn’t stand to watch myself, lol. I’ve seen enough terrible YouTube review / demo clips to ever attempt one myself!

Haha!! I post my sound cloud junk on here sometimes. I know it sounds like crap. Idk.
I enjoy doing home recordings...guess that's all that matters.

But I'll still post that horrible shit!! :)

Believe me, your stuff is definitely worth sharing. I’m still in my infancy, having played for less than a year. If I even try to record a scratch track, the minute I push the record button, I choke under pressure. Lol

Waiting on a guy to weigh this out at fed ex to determine shipping charges.
    1984 Roadstar 430FG.
Same as my heavily modified 430FG and serial # indicates they were built the same month.

Probably paid to much for it, but it's sentimental to me to have an original since I've had mine for 33 yrs.

He claims it is dead mint with original case.

Okay, now that someone else posted a bass, I feel better. Just picked this beauty up the other day, to round out my collection.

That green is sick! If the green lantern played guitar....this would be his axe!
Sometimes you can’t put a price on something, if it has deeper meaning to you.
    Enjoy!

Never played one of these,I used to have a pretty sweet 87/92 Ibanez Rg 500&700 series collection but I had to sell them all when times got tough.Always think about buying one again someday.

    Great playing guitars.
This one is #7 of my collection and is my 3rd 430.
The 430 is the lowest of the deluxe series and just has a certain feel about it.

Got my splawn this weekend. I'll upload pics later. It's funny since my only cabinet now is an Orange 2x12 and the head is wider than the cab. Sounds sweet though.

Few more pics of the collection I got my 430FG from.
I'd really like to have the 1300BK but it's an "85". Seriously thinking about it.
He's parting with a bunch of them so if you like early Ibanez's And see something you like, let me know and maybe I can get you a price.

    He's in Utah.
