They've been in the works since February of last year so Toyota has definitely known about the design for a while.

In case you wanted 2020 lights that say "TRD PRO" illuminated, you're going to have to go to Toyota for that I'm afraid.

Lets not ignore how they're dimmer, have more glare, likely cost more, etc. than Morimotos

The headlights we helped you develop in this thread still look better, IMO.

That is just the Pro headlights. The TRD Offroad gets the same headlights just without the "TRD PRO" illumination.

Good call! I wonder if that's actually good for output or not!

For the average user, they won't care it they are reflector or projector base. They just like the buzz word "LED HEADLIGHTS" OMG. Obviously XB's have some other benefits; SB DRL/TURN, Projectors, etc. With that said, and depending on price(look at the Tundra OEM LED's which are pretty reasonably prices IMO) they would make a great base for upgrading.(Jewel eyes, mini's, etc). I bet illuminated PRO badge is going to 3X the cost though:rofl:

You are likely correct. Funniest part is it sure looks to be an overlay. The Non-pro TRD models have a DRL in the spot. I can easily see someone making vinyl overlays with cuts reading TRD, Sport, Off Road and such.

I'm guessing, but I'm not sure if that is DRL at the bottom. I'm thinking its the turn signal, and the DRL will be the "C" strip up top.

Surprised Toyota didn't go full fanservice and just make it read "TRD BRO"

But like everyone else, I'll be looking for the "Bro" vinyl.

Interesting how they still have the headlight filler panel black.

It's probably serrated like ours, hard to see in the pic. That's one thing the XB headlights do very differently, the front lens takes up the entire headlight filler plate.

Apologies if this has already been answered somewhere in this thread, but are these compatible with non-LED DRL headlight assemblies that just use the amber turn signal as the DRL??

Yes, they'll be compatible with all 2016+ trucks (2020 TBD).
