How hard was it to pull off the factory mirror? Been thinking of this mod.

Installed the factory roof rack. Yes yes I know, it’s no prinsu but first I have no use for a full time rack. This one handles 2 kayaks just fine and tucks our the way. For my needs the factory works. Also did the pop&lock tailgate, I can not tell you guys that is BY FAR THE BEST MOD YET. I have literally used my tailgate about 10x more now.

Not bad. Look at back of new mirrors and see where the 4 points snap in. Use equal pressure on left and right sides. May help to pull the mirror skins first so you can see where it is clipped. 4 clips roughly 3 inches apart rotated at 45 degrees. Helps to look at clip side of new mirrors.

Guys, I installed those Baja Designs amber fog lights not too long ago. For some reason I have been having an itch to go to the TRD Pro ones. I know they are substantially priceier; I want to know who has had both and who likes what more? Any advice would help. Thanks

I’ve only had a set of Morimoto XB replacement fogs as well as the Baja Designs Sqadron Sports. I know you’re looking for comparisons between the Rigid Pro fogs, and BD’s, but I figure you could use this as a baseline for what it is. For a true driving fog light I prefer the Morimoto lights as the beam pattern was wide enough to light up the road and cut off line was clean and precise. The Baja’s are well built units, with a crazy lifetime warranty and customer service is pretty good, however they are definitely an off road light and throw much needed light all over the place when on the trail. I drank the koolaid and got them on the truck, but think I’ll be going back to the Morimoto’s in the fog light position, and use the BD’s for some other auxiliary lighting option. My bet would be that the rigid’s that are on the Pro’s are a more road worth light.
