    Piece of sandpaper works wonders. :rolleyes: I would think a Scotch Brite pad would take just enough off for the cap to slide in easier also. :)

    So the gasshole hole itself is tapered inward ~.040”. I did this to makeup for any tiny variance between gas caps. The cap itself is not meant to slide all the way through the hole, just the tip to press fit and hold it in place. I also left it a little tighter for wear over time. If your still is too tight, hitting the inside lip with some light sandpaper should do the trick.
    Better tight than loose I always say:)

    I just spun mine inside a little and it loosened enough to go in first try. Didn’t need emery cloth or anything. If you do it I would do an extremely fine grade or 0000 steel wool so you don’t take off too much too fast.

    Yup, take it in/out a few dozen times and it would probably loosen up without any alterations

    Am I the only one who just uses the door clip to hold my cap? The tether has just enough length and stretch that it fits perfect. I should note, that I will probably still get myself a Gasshole as well...because why not mod my truck even more!?
