What colour MaxTrax to get

I'm looking to pick up a set of MaxTrax and I'm wondering what colours you guys are using. Obviously orange is the easiest to see but I'm not sure I want that standout colour on my truck. I'm thinking black or tan but are these hard to see when they get buried in mud or sand? Thanks in advance for all your responses.

I like the gray with orange nubs personally.

That may be, but I too like things to match if I have a option. Last night I had to argue with the guy at best buy about some 4 gauge wire. The picture on the website showed red/black, he came out with a package of silver/black. He kept saying its the same part number, same part. But I already have red 8 gauge wire, having silver go into red would look bad for the 2 people who may see the wire. He seemed pretty mad that I didnt want the silver one.

 

Get color matched.

 

I got orange because Amazon had a deal on a previously opened package. Saved $80. Can’t see them from inside the truck.

 

Pretty rich coming from a guy who has to state “not a mall crawler” in his profile.

 

I’m open to suggestions.

 

Can you post a pic with the pink ones on your truck, I could be swayed to go that route.

 

I have a set of orange. Currently acquiring a set of black. If I ever mount them outside the truck the plan will be to sandwich orange between the black for a less obvious look. Currently I just toss them in the bed up on edge

 

I wonder if they can be dyed. They seem to be a nylonish material.

 

I'm sure you could plastidip them.
