I wish I could do Moab with you guys, but the May timeframe kills me this year.

Moab?? May?? New girl will actually be there then. Doing the Rimrocker trail from Montrose to Moab mid May. Then exploring. If y'all see a black taco with a GFC and GA tags, wave me down!

hopefully so, I could possibly manage a fall trip this year, but that'd be the earliest.

house reno for the next 2 months or so, and a family beach trip in June locks down the first half of the year for expenses/vacation for sure.

I will for sure man. I want to get Amy and Leo out there so badly I think they would absolutely love it. Scenery is like her favorite part about wheeling and I can't explain in pictures or words what Utah is like. Just gotta go to experience it.

You'll have a blast in May. Was seriously one of (if not the) best weeks of my life even with my truck breaking.

your issue will be time/coordination. just gotta have folks with you (brian and jeff are awesome) willing to help you get it all settled if something breaks. Brian was key for me riding around with my tent like he did.

I want to ride my motorcycle to Utah. That is a haul and to be honest would take some training to ride that far on a moto. I think the ride to Key West will come first for us, then maybe out west.

I wouldn't ride that far on a bike unless the journey is going to be part of your experience. Get a dual sport (DRZ400 served me well) that you'll be able to have fun on trails and ride the TAT to get there would be my recommendation. Give yourself some time for Colorado too though, for sure. If not, just load a dirt bike in a cargo van and drive it out there to have fun.
