I want to do the Pioneer AVH bypass, but I am not sure which gauge wire I should buy. I am assuming it is stranded wire.

Is this the common type of gauge to use when doing car installs?

Just use 18-20 gauge, you don't need anything larger than that

Thanks. This is my first time installing a stereo, and I want to make sure I have everything before I remove the factory unit.
