Steel wheel lugs are angled (bottom one), aluminum are sleeves (top one). Chrome or not, does not matter.

I recall reading that the 16" steel wheels are 7" wide? Same width as the 16" alloy wheel on the SR5 and OR?

So therefore, 265/70/16 should fit the 16" OEM SR steel wheels, correct? Any reason I should not go with this wider (bigger) size?

Correct. 265/70/16 will work just fine.

Would like to hear more about your re-gear. Along with who did it and how bad it bit your wallet, also, (after a change of season maybe?) let us know about any affects on your miles per gallon.
I have that same wee blue decal in the lower left windshield. Dpt 575, TOC 2.
I like the graphics you applied! Source of your skidplate?

It looks like the stock skidplate with fresh coat of gloss paint.

Yes, except "stock" doesn't apply to the SR utility cab. It doesn't come w/ one. So I am interested in his source. I get it, that they may be available many places, but I'm under the impression that he and I are in the same area. His source may be my best source for one.
