    I started working for a new company yesterday that manufactures metal cleaning and resurfacing equipment and her sister company that makes autoshop tools. I am an assistant to the director of international sales and EVP of the company. Bonus is that its in line with my degree and should count towards credits. I'm psyched about it, it a lot of info to absorb (like drinking from a firehose) but its nothing I cant handle. Thankfully, my boss is cool with scheduling around my classes and knows where my priorities are (school, work). I was at abookstore andit was an ok job, but it was really stagnant, no potential for anything there. Go me.

    I like it so far, huge learning curve though. The only bad thing is that theres a flour mill across the street and the dust from it is covering my truck...

    I know that feeling, it sucks.:mad: I just quiet my job at a flour mill and having my truck stay cleaner is gonna be sweet! The mill is probably Horizon Milling.

    just be glad you don't work near a paper mill. that sulphuric acid coming out of the smoke stack will eat the paint right off your vehicle.:mad:

    I have a hard time believing that. Today with all the environmental regulations and the scrubbing of the gases before it leaves the stacks all but eliminate the SO2 that can escape during emissions. I dont know which paper mill you are referring too but the one I work at we will shut down the entire facility if there is any chance of us going out of compliance. My truck is 4 yrs old and has been taking me to work everyday since I bought it new and it sits less than 150' away from 5 of our stacks with no paint damage of any kind. I have also been working at a paper mill for 17 yrs and havent witnessed what you are referring too. I have heard of stories like what you are referring too but that was stories from over 30 yrs ago. Sorry but I dont agree.
