I’ve been looking at these. My concern was light output with the smoked lense. How is it? I have the tails and would love to have headlights. About the time I go to order them I find a reason not to after reading some things. Be nice to hear someone’s opinion who has them.

I have one that’s almost identical, but branded as Trident. I like the simple design and easy install. It’s not completely waterproof, but you can improve that with some silicone, I’m sure. It’s easy to remove, and looks good. I think you can’t go wrong with it.

Trifold will be more secure than roll up.

Well when you’re ready to offload those BDs, I would be willing to take them off your hands to help offset your costs.

    Those look beefy.

I think, for me, I would be content with just some smoked Lamin-X film. But the headlamps are so contoured that there’s no way to get a good cover on them I think.

UPDATE ON PLUG-N-PLAY HARNESS FOR POP-N-LOCK TAILGATE: Okay, so I spoke to Toyota, and they want me to tell them how many of these connectors I will be needing in the future. Therefore, for everyone that has sent in PMs and have posted on this thread about wanting to be put on the next batch, I will be counting you towards my quantity.

Due to Toyota putting such a tight hold on these connectors, what they are able to do is make an exception this time and send me what they can get quickly, then they will place a large dealer order to Japan for the quantity over what they are able to get from U.S. stock, and ship the rest to me, along with whatever quantity I need above the 30 of each I already ordered on the current Batch.

So, long story short, if you could let me know if you are wanting to be placed on a Future Batch that would be greatly appreciated. I need to get Toyota a quantity I might need in the future, again, above the 30 of each I have already ordered, so they can make accommodations for that. This is GREAT NEWS!!!!!

I do not know after I place this order how many batches will be able to take place after this so please, if you want in, get in on this order NOW!!!! With that also said, having to place this order in advance like this, and from Japan, I will create a list of EVERYONE, which will take some time I’m sure, and I will need ALL payments in advance.

How I will do it is the following:

When the connectors come in, I will make the PNP Harnesses (whether it be Harness Only or Full Kit), then I will look at my current Batch List and go down from the top since that is the order of PMs I received and orders that were placed. I feel that is only fair. I will also do that for the orders that have followed. Everyone will be placed in the order that they have come in and I will just continue to go down the line until each order is filled.

I am extremely excited to hear this news from Toyota as I have heard from a couple others that have been placing orders of these connectors and their orders have been getting cancelled. So again, if you want in, get in on this NOW!!!

Click on the link in my signature to get to the thread where you can read more, make a post, or PM me your order interest.

I have been waiting for my truck to finish this build but I may need to borrow someone’s truck so I can get these on the market ;) Just heard back from Toyota and my back ordered Power Master Booster part has yet to get a shipping date, but I’m told I’m first on the list. I need to create and take some install pics and videos of these in action. You can check out the build thread link that is located in my signature. It’s been an extremely fun build.
