Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
I have Fox 2.0’s and I’m going to be upgrading to Kings sometime in the future. Too many other projects on the back burner

If it were me definitely Kings
I've had friends that worked at Fox that weren't too thrilled about 'em

Also think about the servicing and PM that's probbaly needed for a high performance shock like that.. I opted the bilstein 5100 for simplicity n all

I would check with after the sale support... I had the shafts on my Fox front shocks on my dune buggy pit and rust. It took Fox 2 months to make a new run of shafts. 2 months... in the middle of desert season. I kept searching until I found a retailer who happened to have a set of shafts on the shelf. 2 months... bs.

It depends where you live. I have run Fox and Sway Away on my truck for years but do not live in the salt belt nor do I live close to the ocean. The coastal salt wreaks havoc on the Fox shock bodies and prematurely corrodes or rusts them. I would run King if you live in any of the above aforementioned areas unless you are prepared to performed regular anti rust anti corrosive maintenance on the shocks themselves.

That being said both Fox and King are both a fantastic brand. Both also have amazing customer service as well and I would gladly refer and recommend anyone to either brand without hesitation. Pick your color and let 'em rip!

One reason I didn’t go with Fox - unless you’re a somebody, customer service is meh from other reports.

I’ve been happy with my ADS shocks knock on wood.

    Stuff, things, this, an ADS
ADS all the way, if you live in a salty environment those fox shock are already corroding. My friends fox’s on his raptor look like shit 8k after purchase. Kings or ADS would be the only way I go.

I don't think I've seen you yet, or maybe I have, if you hear a friendly whine thrown at you around town, you'll know it's me.

2.0 to 2.5 shocks is an upgrade no matter whether it's King or Fox lol

That’s interesting because that’s what I heard Kings downside was...

rust would be my main concern, but I thought all 3 companies use alloy shock bodies and plated rods?

This, a million times this. Most guys will be disappointed in the service life of rebuildable race shocks.

Fox/King/ADS/Icon...doesn't matter in the salt. They all will be piles of leaky rust in a couple years unless you are super meticulous about maintenance and anti-corrosion.
