    Stuff. Also things.
    Nooo!!!

Any damage to J5 other than the tailgate? Sucks that the guy was on a suspended license, but that should blow back on him, hopefully.

I got rear-ended on the freeway between Boulder and Denver and knew it was gonna happen. It was snowing and the dumbfuck refused to keep some space between us. I had plenty of room in front of me, so when I saw the traffic slow and then stop I was fine, but I looked back just in time to see the bastard look up from his phone, slam on his brakes and slam into me. On top of that, he was driving someone else’s vehicle and it was uninsured. My insurance company fucked that dude and his buddy up. Ended up totalling my car and used the funds as a down payment on a new car for the ex. That whole situation was a giant pain in the ass.

Ha, yes the bumper definitely saved my ass, literally.

Lol I honestly thought of your rig when I saw the damage myself. I was honestly most worried about the frame bending. Priority #1 is going to be boxing the frame, u bolt flip and shock relocate now.

Dude I saw this shit coming too! Same shit, just getting to a highway packed full of 3 lane traffic. Saw in the rear view mirror he was following to close and reaching over for shit in the passenger seat. The first time we stopped I was okay, I was actually tapping my brakes a couple times to try to get his attention. We started going and stopped again and that's when the idiot hit me.

Well now that it’s on I don’t think I like it all. Might be a Satoshi grill for sale on here soon.

I might be interested. I’d have to paint it black so and I could do that myself. Let me know what you might want for it if you decide to sell.

@Blackdawg why do you think your truck overheated? I wouldn’t think a small leak in the radiator would cause an overheat unless you lost all the coolant. Might be wrong considering it’s supposed to be pressurized to keep it from boiling.

Reason I ask is because my 1 year old OEM leaks around the plastic crimp enough to let some air in and causes the bubbling noise in the heater core until it gets pushed out. But only when it’s ~ 30 or below outside.

I hope you cleaned your throttle body and IAC valve real well while you were at it. That's pretty nasty.

It varies from state to state. Police are not required to complete a report if there isn’t a complaint of injury or the damage value doesn’t meet a certain threshold. It’s more of a civil issue between the parties involved and imsurance company. Of course, if the crash occurred on private property (parking lots), there will it be a report at all unless the crash was a result of reckless driving or a hit and run. If there’s a complaint of injury and/or the damage value meets the criteria, a report is completed and a driver cited... in Virginia anyway...

It’s one of those cheap Amazon boxes so I’m kinda curious on how long it’ll last. I have a back up pretty much ready to go though.

Now I just need to drill a hole in my fender and throw my snorkel on and I’ll have all the expo points

Nice! From the pic on my phone it looked like a stock box. I've bought a couple trucks with Cai on them and removed shortly after. Curious how long the replica will last. I put a thin coating of grease on the filter seal and it seems to help keep that gunk out of the intake. Look forward to seeing the snorkel great improvement when you need them for sure.

It was for my 84. It's too thick and not mold formed enough. Even in the middle of summer with a heat gun and it still came out looking like ass. Next time I'll use carpet and cut it down and seal it with some rubber bumper paint.
