I thought maybe someone swerved off road, but from what I could tell, they made an off road trail to get to it, lol. Trail marks didn't quite look like someone swerved off road either, they would have narrowly missed a guard rail too.

I really don't understand how 3 inches of snow caused that massive pileup on I 70 Missouri.

Meanwhile, this is what my stomping grounds are looking like:

 

Coworker's husband's brother was involved in that wreck. Said it happened after cars go over a hill sort of, had people brake checking at a blind spot. Not sure how the initial wreck happened, but yeah.

 

Figured it would be something like that, but the initial wreck... probably someone getting a little cocky out there; the rest is sure to follow when you cant brake. Didn't know it was around a hill though, makes wayyyy more sense.

 

from what i could see it was because of white out conditions and people driving to fast when they couldnt see far ahead of them

Sup KC crew, located down here in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Don’t know why I never thought to check out the KC regional thread, mostly hang, wheel and mod with a good group of guys in the STL area. Just wanted to say what’s up!

Where do the STL guys take you for wheeling?

 

Been out to Moonlight Offroad Park, which is in Sullivan, MO about an hour NW if me, and Flat Nasty Park in Jadwin, MO about and hour West. A bunch of us are actually heading to Tennessee for an event in March.

Most of the guys around here have been going to Kansas Rocks and Tuttle Creek.

I've wanted to chuck out Flat Nasty sometime though. Heard something about SMORR too.

 

I haven’t been to SMORR yet but have heard good thing about the tracks and obstacles they got down there.

 

One day I'll get to any one of these places, heh. Haven't been out yet.

 

Cool. I have family down there in Fort Leonard Wood/St. Roberts, Dixon and Crocker. I've never been to Moonlight, but I've been to Flat Nasty a few times. Been to SMORR too way back before they built all the cool log cabin buildings out there.
