Pro grille vs knockoff

I used size #8, length 1/2 inch screws to hold the centerpiece in place.

 

I used a size #12 screw to secure the top of the sensor to the grille.

 

Got my faker as a birthday gift. It's from @FreshMexicanTaco Came assembled and intact. The "T" is a little loose, I hope it hangs on.

I painted the letters black. I liked the look more and the T/A had the oversized appearance.

TSS works fine, radar cruise works fine.

I'd be careful with Mad Hornets, their quality is inconsistent. I and some other members on here got bad quality grilles, and they're very hard to get a refund from. If you gonna go fake, go with Ebay or Amazon, IMO.

 

I agree.. I bought mine on EBay.. & no problems whatsoever..

 

Anyone on here have problems with the PCS not recalibrating and working properly after they installed the garnish?
ive driven probably around 300 miles with the garnish in and my PCS and automatic cruise control still doesn't work. The light for the PCS comes on a few mins into driving so i know its plugged in. Thanks in advance.

 

Hey man, have you had any problems with that Mad Hornets Grill you got? I just got one...Having trouble getting the tabs on sensor to fit

 

I dont have the tss on my truck so I didn't need the garnish. But I did need to use my own longer screws to mount the Toyota emblem because the screws they sent weren't long enough.

 

Yeah screws were worthless. I got the garnish but I'm gonna see how it goes without it first.

Tempted to buy an OEM trd pro grille.
I bought a knock off from ebay a bir more than a year ago and it was worth the $80 at the time because it looked exactly like the OEM one but it recently started to peel and the color is detoriating...
