For me, that was like getting a free lift with minimal effort. Haha

Yeah it sure feels like it. I even got an offer for them for $140 from a guy on Craigslist. They just get in the way and when I get a lift I’ll get something different anyways.

Did a little offroad trip with 15 other local Toyota trucks. Some FJs, 4 runners, and Tacomas. Did awesome, never got stuck. Lift getting installed tomorrow, and airing down better next time should make the snow a breeze.

Replaced the door lock actuator motor in my driver’s door. The process f***ing sucked and I think uttered every profane word I know throughout the process, but it was a success!

The dealership wanted $625 to install a whole new actuator unit. Doing it myself only cost me $10.99 for the motor and 1.5 hours of frustration.

I would start this stuff this weekend, but my shoulder doesn’t think I should. Maybe in two weeks.

Funny, I installed mine last year with one arm recovering from shoulder surgery. When you do it take your time and be careful of your shoulder I’m loosing my job over it

I’ve found 2 local shops I can use, but I’m gonna check with my uncle and see if he’ll help me.

That's awesome, I think I only got about $80 out of mine. I thought about putting something else on eventually too, but my 5 year old is able to climb up in it just fine, so onto other things.

Changed my oil, oil filter, greased zerk fittings, rotated tires, and bought some goodies (Grid-it, center console organizer, OBDII reader, and iOS app). Now the waiting game begins...

Just enough to look kinda cool.
Bent some brackets for roof mounted light bar, mounted and wired some craigslist special pod lights, attempted to do the anytime fog light mod but ended up popping some fuses.
