Agreed. I priced out a 2 door Rubicon out of curiosity recently and was at around $46k sticker. Pretty tough to justify at that price point. The Gladiator will probably be even tougher. I'm curious how they sell out of the gate.

there is no way they are going to ask 80k for that , they wont sell, I would rather a real full sized truck at that price...

I'm just going by the articles listed on the wrangler forums. I don't think it's worth 60K to be honest......and I'm a Jeep fan(pre-07)

Jeeps are made by Willys-Overland. That's an over-priced Daimler-Chrysler ripoff.

They haven't been made by Willys since 53 when Kaiser bought them. It's a Fiat now.

That's still to much for what I think of when I think "Jeep". I understand it's headed the same direction of the Land Rover and Land Cruiser and becoming a "luxury" off-road vehicle. I just don't like it. I always thought of Wranglers as a simple man's vehicle. Now they are soccer mom, brodoziers.

No German engineering in this one thankfully, though I'm not sure Fiat is any better.

Now if you want a license-built "real" Jeep complete with loosy-goosey steering and spartan interior: https://www.roxoroffroad.com/roxor-offroad-vehicles

Would be cool if someone makes an aftermarket kit to do this facelift.

TFL Truck said they're expecting prices to be around 2-3k more than a comparable JLU 4-Door...

I’m sure someone will have something similar. It’s a Jeep. They have the most aftermarket support
