Only works properly when stalk is fully engaged, no tap to signal.

That would be ok. I always engage the stalk if I’m actually turning. Now to get MESO to design some of his magic for us.

Sorry for the dumb question, but how does your ‘curb light’ stay on while the blinker is flashing? Does the curb lights relay receive steady power from the turn signal ‘signal’? Would it not be a pulsing?

That would be beat My previous car had adaptive headlights that turned when you turned the car to help with corners. too fancy for a tacoma for sure. Curious to see if someone comes up with a corner activated light that would not blind someone.

How does the blinker stay "on" n pulsating? It is energized by the turn stalk which completes the circuit to activate the internal relay in-charge of blinking. One for the right, one for the left and another for both when hazards are selected. The wires used are in parallel with this mode. Flashing does not happen in these wires.

Thanks for the explanation! I’m gonna give this a go in the spring.
My VW has cornering lights and I miss them on the truck. My Night vision ain’t what it used to be!!

Where would you place the added lamps? Does your truck have empty relay slots in the small fuse box next to the main fuse box in the engine room?
There are IGN/ACC relays in the main fuse box to tap into for juice or signal. EFI-MAIN No.1, IG2_MAIN* and INJ Relay

I may hack into the existing fog lights, use a diode there too.
I have an added aux fuse/relay box with added power so that’s already taken care of! Finding the wiring you show under the dash will be the next project once it’s above freezing. Man, I need a garage.....

Just to screws holding the upper and lower covers for the steering wheel. Then carefully "unsnap" the tabs holding them together. Left side on the Light & Signal Stalk.

You plan on having this "activated" by the fog switch? As in ON/Ready when fogs are lit?

I haven’t really thought about it al all yet, but I’d think tapping the fog light wire, adding diodes, no switches, and the fog would work as normal with the switch, or be powered from the extra relay when the blinker was turned on, for when the fogs are not turned on. I usually don’t run them on normal weather nights. If I turned them on all the time doing this would be pointless!!
