Like to have the end of the line spoiled in completely protected from the elements and avoid the chance of expose line hanging up on something.
Also want to get a rid of that nasty looking hook

I agree, I don't like the hook. @El Dahs has nothing on the end of his line except for the little loop metal thingy that you probably have on yours. He keeps a D Ring shackle on it and this allows the rope to be completely spooled in. The more I think about it, the more I realize that any type of metal on the end of the rope is unnecessary. Just need a loop and a shackle.

Yep you could get a few soft shackles instead. I almost bought a flat link, then I thought about it.

Flat splicer. Not the flatlink. The rope took some hits so I'm gonna cut the rope and splice putting it in the flat splicer.

Hey @Arcticelf, I have a question about your limit straps. Where did you get yours How did you determine the length? And are yours adjustable? Sorry for silly questions especially if you provided that info and I missed it.
Looks like I'm going to need straps in the rear...

Well, those are actual straps (kinda like seat belts) that one would mount between a frame and an axle to prevent overextending and damaging of our expensive shocks. Turin lists them in his build, I'm pretty sure I saw them some pages back but I just cannot find them while on the phone, and I'm not sure if he has them in the front or rear.
I need to upgrade my rear springs (or at least add-a-leaf), and I'm just afraid that I'm going to damage the shocks, if not damaged already

I bought Mobtown's bumper with a swing-out. It is not who knows how heavy, but all together with a swing- out and a spare it creates hell of a leverage. It's pretty much flat out my medium Dakars.
I got to say I do regret some of the decisions about the suspension, but it's kind of too late now, and I got to fix whatever I have, because going with everything new is just way too expensive

Yes. It's a single leaf that basically converts my medium pack to HD pack
