Good luck. Pretty sure all HC rears with swingouts are gone. Could try to get a normal HC and have a local build the swingout

That’s awesome that some of those folks got some type of help.
As a former pelfreybilt customer who was always more than pleased, it’s just hard to believe this went down. I guess if you’re not behind the scenes at a place, you never know what really goes on.

The truck hit that big 60,000 which means I’m at the service department getting the last of my warranty service work done. I thought diff service was included but it’s not. Being that I recently had a regear done a few months, I was wanting to get it done. The dealership quoted 139 for the front and 139 for the rear. I passed for today, but what is a reasonable price for a full diff service, here in the metro Atlanta area?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Too true! I only stayed at each job I took for about two years. I was working at post houses and TV networks. Every time I showed up the first meeting I was a part of involved talks of layoffs and selling the company.
It’s about impossible to see behind the scenes these days. Companies that even make big money are potentially looking to sell, which I turn creates squat for stability of its employees and community.
That’s why I bought my recent purchase of armor from State48Overland, only got $250 dropped on two Alum front bumpers, 2 sets of sliders and a rear dual swingout for the FJ.

I took this job about ten years ago during the recession. No where did they mention during the interview, that being salary, I would have to do two weeks of furlough and do a shit ton of mandatory volunteer hours (these hours were working outside of my department) during the Christmas season. Take in mind I was pushing 60 hours a week. Then on top of that the place was infamous for random layoffs. I was so relieved when they sold off the half of the property I worked on.

Agreeing with Kris it’s pretty easy. Just open the fill plug first then drain it all out. Just like an oil change, but if you don’t have the time/space I get that. It’ll take about 1-2 hours Id say

Aye- hardest part is the front skids... and the pain of pumping. Definitely a forearm workout

Time is my biggest concern followed by not wanting to deal with my skids.
