I will say those welds posted up there did look like shit. and thats saying something because I use my flux cored wire on small projects. Practice practice practice. And the ends were different sizes.

Theres not much you can do to the factory spindle other then the TC Gusset. Not to many companies build a spindle for Tacoma/tundras/4runners do to the bearings being pressed in. A lot of companies go to the older toyota 4x4 snouts. Or they use something like the Camburg hubs. I think for the average person that long travels there truck and running 33" tires the TC gusset is fine. Any bigger tire and Plans for racing or a ton of abuse I suggest finding someone to build you a spindle.

Never seen there spindle for the FJ. For the FJ, 05+ tacoma/4runner those have a bolt on bearing assembly. That being the reason TC, Camburg and a few others have built spindles for them.

Great welds on a farm! And I know people that ride with welds like that but the one that I am thinking of isn't selling his stuff and wheels with a welder on-board.

YIKES! In Nates defense he can weld. I've seen it personally :D I'll post pictures later today but he did tell me his welder was toast. I don't think I would have sold em like that and a side note his arms do have internal gusseting you can see the heat warp through the paint
