I'll never see a set of $300 boots again. Cooper even told me himself. Erikas raising him to be privileged so down the road he's not considered the "poor kid". :ohsnap:

Fuckers already got North Face this and that. She let's him play with her old cell phone. It doesn't even turn on, but he likes to hold it. :argue:

I swear he's gonna end up part of the PatagucciOverland. :boink:
At least it's still technically a Toyota.

I haven’t owned a “expensive” set of boots since i lived in AK, the saltwater killed the super rainforests i had . I bought a pair of quarry’s after dealing with miserably wet/cold feet. My work offers a boot allowance so they really only cost $140 out of pocket.

So it's one of those valves, I'm trying to figure out which one deals with what bank. Check your connections/plugs, maybe unplug and look for corrosion or rust, and reconnect. Maybe trace the hoses from each switching valve, they should run to an exhaust manifold. One for driver's side, one for passenger side.

Ugh, I'll never buy another set of danners again. I've had the quarry originals, and the 2.0, also the plain Jane steel toe/goretex danners. All leak and the eyelets eat laces like Rosie odonnel at a hostess cupcake party. My Georgia boots have lasted 2x as long as any danner I've had, and still on the original laces too, but I'm due for a new pair or at least get them resoled. you ever dealt with the boot guy off of Preston fall city road? I've always seen his sign, but never heard anything about him.

Hopefully i don’t have those issues...

My brothers had his boots resoled by that guy a few years back, don’t remember what it cost but he’s still wearing them so he does good work.

Yeah that sign looks like it's 20yrs old, and I've driven by it a million times. His front yard looks more like a wrecking yard, and he has a 2 post lift in a carport. A carport.... o_O

Or it could just be my depth perception and it's actually just out in the open.

It’s out in the open...sometimes. There’s also a lift out in the open past tolt hill road on the right side heading towards Redmond. Never understood why you’d do that.

Haven't seen that one. A guy would have to spray it down with oil weekly to keep it from rusting.

Pretty sure I'm in the lower 48, but no, not a GX. See below...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Land_Cruiser#J200_(2007–present)

    Actually it's 2007 - to at least 2020

    Thanks

Have you contacted Danner? That sounds like a flaw they would take care of

Until now I never really looked at their limited warranty. They'd probably just say it's normal wear and tear, or I drilled holes in them :anonymous:. It basically sounds like just even wearing them out of the house would void the warranty.

Boots are one of those wear items in my mind. For spending $250+ I'd like them to last more than 4-6months. I even work at a quarry, and while the quarry 2.0's having the abrasion resistant parts was a good idea, they still didn't hold up in a "quarry" atmosphere. I oil my boots frequently, so I don't really have a problem with the leather wearing out, it's the stitching and the eyelets. And the gor-tex is worthless when the stitching wears out, they work better at keeping the water in than out at that point. One thing I did like was they offered a ceramic steel toe which makes a big difference in the winter.

My Georgia boots have lasted me just over 2yrs now, with the original laces, and the soles are starting to fatigue and making my feet damp.

I've had great luck with Danner strykers and acadias. But I don't need such a rigid boot or a steel toe so Salomon 4ds have my heart

Which ones you have? Ive had the Romeo's for the last few years. I always have an issue with wearing out the soles pretty quick on pretyt much any brand I've tried.

Just their standard 8" steel toe. I've got a few pairs of Romeo's.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
I don't know anyone who works in the woods and doesn't where Roemo's to the job site.
