Picked it up a week ago and already started removing junk and replaced wheels and tires.

Looks good, but remove the double chin there, its entirely useless and will really help with the look of your truck.

I was thinking about doing that. Didn’t have time to look behind it yet. I believe that is all they did to the TRD OR. But just a guess. Do you know if there is anything behind the spoiler that needs protecting or just an ugly cosmetic piece?

Just an ugly cosmetic piece to "help with mpg", but everyone junks it since it seems it doesnt truely help and makes the truck fugly not to mention approach angle, etc., will take 5 minutes and a wrench/ratchet in the driveway. I junked mine on my 16 SR5, no change in MPG and a much better looking truck.

Thanks, I may have to pull it off tomorrow. Didn’t really buy it for the gas mileage. Just for reliability and of course style.

You should ask them to let you keep those black wheels and simply install the new Taco wheels on the 4R before you trade it in.

I'm not trading the T4R...I just wish my Icon suspension would fit on the Taco

It's going to need to be lifted....I am currently thinking Kings may be the way to go...but I really like the idea of a 4" drop bracket lift with some coilovers as well.. just not sure that it's a good idea

Friends don't let friends cut their $40k trucks and drop bracket. Don't do it.
