I had KO2’s in 295/75/16 before my current STT Pro in 315/70/17. I hated the KO2’s. Traction was mediocre, they chunked, and wouldn’t stay balanced for more than 2k miles. I finally sold them with half the tread left. The Coopers have been great. I have 25-30k on them and it looks like I’ll get another 20k. I rotate every 4K and haven’t had to rebalance yet, and they make less noise than the KO2’s did.

I have 285/75/16 and they are pretty heavy. I have 4.10 gears but thinking of re-gearing to 4.88 to regain power back cause I like to go fast:burnrubber:

April till November these tires kicked ass and I fell in love with them. However on November 8th these didn't stand up the the Camp Fire.

Yeah. I was almost two hours away at work when my wife and whole town had to escape, not evacuate. I really don't know how they made it out. Noticed almost two weeks ago that the windshield wipers on my wife's 4 runner still have burns in them from hot embers. Kinda strange feeling really.

Don't worry it's not the area and nature to blame. It mismanagement of state federal and public lands to reduce the fire fuel. Some want to blame the power company but they don't realize that this would have never happened to this extent if vegatation was managed correctly. Stopping logging isn't the answer, it is however (when done correctly) the best solution!

Still loving these, NO issues and I feel like I have maximum traction in every on and off road environment. & I even bought a fifth one in recent months as a full sized spare. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for an MT. Next go around I’ll get 305/70/16’s.

Wow. Do I spy a rear shock relocation, hammer hangers & double bypass front suspension? And Volks? Looks like an incredibly well built tacoma. Nice work. I wish I had the guts to step up to that same size STT pro.
