No problem. My rear window has no gasket attached to it. It seals against the gasket on the cap. Good luck.

Been almost 2 months since I used the cobalt 9H spray on ceramic coating. Truck has been washed maybe 5 times since then. Still holding a great shine.

That's exactly why mine is locked up during the week. When I visit with my clients we are not allowed to carry firearms in their facilities. I have a 5 yr old that I take to and from his school academy which requires that we walk in. Fair game on the weekends.

I’ve had one collecting dust for over 10 years. You just made me look for it! Definitely show us how it turns out in the end.

Surprised mine hasn't blowed up running 37 psi. Then again I have zero wear on my KO2's after 1.5 years at the same psi.

Decided to do the diff breather extension. Went into the storage box for now. One reason I did was so I could see the filter easy and keep an eye on it, if it needs replaced or gets dirty. And who actually uses the storage box anyway haha. Happy with the outcome of it and got rid of the one way valve. 704FDECA-A5FE-42DD-961B-EFDB2B04AF0A.jpg 6991744E-1BEB-429E-B1AB-96302FBAECE9.jpg 1B84C5C1-D872-4282-A661-160A6C5682D0.jpg

The kit itself is well built, just has poor instructions. Simple to install and bright as hell.

Finally mounted up. Fits snug and throws great! Will go back later and do a final polishing and sealing. Lots of measuring, sanding, and JB weld, but I’m happy with it! (JB weld was to secure the threading inside, not to attach to shifter).

If I picked up a screw or nail I would have a plugged tire on my truck. Use to run with several plugged tires in my younger years. Since I don't drive in alley ways or on gravel roads anymore I don't have any flats.

I guess it’s collateral damage from the bathroom demo and remodel.

That will do it. I try not to drive past a house getting a re-roof. I have picked up many a roofing nails in my tires back in the day.

I know this is a dealer markup/profit item and price is negotiable.

    1) Anybody know of a dealer in Florida that sells them cheapest?
    2) Do you still have to purchase it in your state of residence? Years ago (like 2008) they could be bought from any dealer, but after complaints from other dealers about being undercut, Toyota changed the requirement to buy in-state. Still the official policy?

I don't usually buy extended warranties, but my new (to me) 2017 TRD sport has 33,000 miles and at a good price, I'll spring for the 7/100,000 warranty for peace of mind. Dealer I bought from wants $1400.

Maybe i am old school. But i have never out a torque wrench on a lug nut in my life. I use one of those crossbones style wrenches. Put about 3/4 of my mustard in it and roll on. Never had a problem. I am an engineerso i get the importance of torque specs. But i can't imagine the tolerance is that tight that it bears a single digit tolerance like 83.

    Agree.

"3/4 of my mustard" should be the spec anyway. I'm writing that into my ownerso manual.

I’m glad that I am not the only one to use the mustard. Too much mustard or not enough are typical measuring points for me.
