Agree, 3.91 is not a horrible rear end ratio. It's the transmission, specifically, the 2nd overdrive (6th) that sucks. Will be converting to a 5 speed single overdrive after this flash/reset break-in.

Auto running 4:56 gears with 285/70/17 tires and have tried all 3 octane tunes. I am about 130 rpms higher at 70 than when stock tire and gears. Truck runs great with this setup. Mpg averages 17-19 per tank on mixed driving. Not driving too aggressive but as aggressive as traffic. I have seen 21 on long highway drives and around 14-16 mostly city stop and go. Calculating for tire size would add about 1.07 percent mpg to my listed number. I like the 4:56 gears.

 

Yup, known issue and is supposed to be fixed in upcoming release, I switched to 91 1.05 tune and it so smooth sometimes i think the engine isn't even running, so i am on 91 tune until the fix comes out, the bouncing was just too annoying for me.

Post #38424 was made last Wednesday so a little over a week ago and mat said “very soon” and he said in multiple posts during this week that the new FM would be ready this week. This week isn’t over until Sunday.
