I guess you would have rather had him hit the guy and then posted a thread “Is my truck totaled”? Let the man air out his frustration. I would’ve been pissed too if I almost hit him.

I saw the opposite on a road trip yesterday. Somebody installed LED tails on a Dodge 3500 that were so bright I thought they had a broken brake pedal switch. When actually braking they barely got any brighter.

Modding trucks is fun. Screwing with lights that cause confusion in other drivers is irresponsible.

If you hit him and you had a dash-cam, it would not have been an automatic at-fault. He would have to pay some of the cost I believe.

Messed-up break lights and driver in front not completing a turn are the only times where a rear-end doesn't end up as an automatic at-fault. At least that is what I remember from the Legal class I took in college.

so they can claim they are being harassed by the cops...meanwhile they have 3 different kinds of dope, paraphernalia in their vehicle and open containers, driving with a suspended license and any number of warrants. but cops are the problem in their eyes...

Don't all the factory lenses and aftermarket need to meet DOT specifications. Seems I remember the lenses having a small DOT stamp on them.

Well maybe he didn’t notice the tail lights but the big fucking truck stopping in front of you might be a clue to slow down

Isn’t there a circle jerk or something in the 2nd gen section that you can amuse yourself with by being the pivot man in? Now that’s a cool story bro. Lol!!!

If you don’t like the way I drive, may I suggest you stay off the sidewalks is what I say.
I would not want to black out anything on my ride. Just asking for an accident

I used to work for a pretty dim bulb. One morning I was following a car up the hill to work that had the brake lights on all the up the hill. When I finally got a chance to pass and saw that it was my supervisor, I was grinning and nodding.

A few years ago, my son did this to his Tacoma and I told him it looked dumb and ricer.

He got a ticket for it a few weeks later and switched them back to red.

In defense of smoked lenses, kind of hard to go white and black theme with red tail lights.

My wife rear ended someone with tinted tails in Chicago, I had her take pics of it, we went to court and driver was 100% at fault.

    Stuff, things, this, an ADS
Seen a Dodge Charger once that had black plasti dip over the rears and third brake light even had black tape over it. I just missed them when he braked and turned in to the same parking lot. I peeled off the plasti dip and left them a note on the windshield. “Hey could see you brake lights so I fixed it for you. I wouldn’t put that back on unless your okay with someone giving you a neck message with their vehicle”
