I spent a good hour last night chipping the 6 inch thick ice chunk out of the bed....

Forgot to clear out all the snow from last week before I took it to the car wash.

 

This is the filter I used wix #33011. Picked it up at the local auto parts store.

 

Finished up some more lighting. Not real happy with the BD lights and mounting setup, gonna play around with a little more secure mounting.

This evening went out and tried the new lights on the road! They are awesome!

Gasshole...Next, Kicker CS door speaker upgrades, after Noico 80mm install. Anyone have a link with detailed instructions on the Noico install? Specifically looking for how much material I need/how much is necessary on the doors.

 

Dont know of too many bouncy ball dispensers that take debit cards.

 

Just had my Icon Stage 4 ( with steel UCA’s) Installed. Tires are 265/75/16’s in both photos. Less than 100 miles and all on-road. Very happy so far. On-Road manners are significantly better than stock. I drove a friend’s 2016 off road and loved the Icons so my only question was how’d I like them on the street.

1) I expected some harshness, but I couldn’t really feel any. The suspension feels very firm, but it it sticks to the road. This is honestly a 10/10 compared to my Lifted ‘06 Land Cruiser and my ‘14 JK Rubicon.

2) Steering remains strong and quick. Much better than both of the vehicles above.

All I need now are my 16” Bronze Rays!

Installed my new Prinsu rack and a couple Plano cases. Still room to grow..

 

Installed my N2 Designs Plug & Play Remote Start... It took a bit of flipping between the included instruction sheet and the install post on here to get going, but once I figured out which plug went where, it was easy sailing. Programmed my H-key on the first try!

 

Installed my Diamond Dual Band NR 770 ham antenna on power tilt mount during nice weather today.

Did a quick test for planner omnidirectionality and it was excellent. I’m in the market for a mid priced 2M/70cm 5-10-50 to permanently mount but for now I will slog my Icom in and out. Will post to thread when I do the project.

The Diamond can be manually folded in any direction too in case the XYL can’t find the switch on the way to the mall.

 

Do the Sharptones require the harness? Saw some just did a direct replacement and state only the Supers need it.

Also installed my Streamlight Stinger DS flashlight, soldered the charging wires to 12v cigarette lighter wiring that run thru the center console. Floor mats need a wash... but clearly doing their job.

The also dirty door sill entry guards are from Red Hound Auto.
