What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I’m probably going to mount it above the entune using fresh mex taco’s DMM kit. Still trying to figure out what transceiver to get!

Just got this. It’s nice, but I wish it went in all the way to sit flush.

There is a three around here that talks about it. I’m installing mine this Sunday. Hopefully doesn’t happen to me. Could be a dirty garnish cover. Also check to make sure your connector is tight.

It might sound silly, but check to make sure the gas cap is tightened properly. My wife’s rav4 had a similar message that said “AWD system malfunction. See dealer”. It was due to a loose gas cap

Installed my @Mobtown Offroad IFS skid today. The quality is excellent and customer service is great. I started the installation yesterday but ran into a snag when the rear 2 bolts would not go in. They responded almost immediately to my emails and helped me through my situation. I uninstalled and started over today after tapping some new threads. I am not a rock crawler so the aluminum version was fine for me. It was a pleasant surprise when I weighed the skid and it was only 26.6 pounds. Their web site states that they are 32 pounds but their explanation is that it is a shipping weight. The OEM skid along with the 2 supporting brackets I removed weighed 10.6 pounds so the net gain was only 16 pounds. The trap door for the oil filter is nice so that the entire skid does not have to be removed for an oil change.

 

I swap the tweeters for the Subaru kickers and my mind is blown
