What did you use to cover the individual led elements....little pieces of tape??
Seems like it would take forever to do that but looks good!

    Update:
Thanks to Taylor being a test subject I have enough data to tweak the design and print a final Alpha 2nd Gen Version.
I am still waiting for feedback on the Baja Designs..but we are really close to production:D

    Some changes on the KC:
-Angle the cyclones down a few degrees. I was guessing on the angle(I don't have a 2nd gen on site) and they came really close to vertical. But tilting down a few degrees will help for bed light.

    Before and after:

Next was how the fitment was to the cab. Again..I was guessing and came really close. But it's still about ~1.5-2MM Short of a flush fit. Not a big deal..easy fix.

Overall placement and form look pretty badass though!

Finalized design, and decided to do an NMO version as well(which barely fits!)

Spray paint the whole thing. Even over the LEDs. Then as the paint is wet, take a rag with paint thinner and wipe the top of each LED. Way quicker, and I've done this method multiple times with no side effects.
    Yes in fact I have a few NMO antenna and mounts in route to test them out. There are 2 basic style NMO mounts;
    1) 3/4" hole version(most common). This is meant for thin sheet metal mounting, and can be installed through the top.
    2) 3/8" "thru-hole" style. This has longer threads, and is meant for mounting from the underside.

I will more than likely be going with option #2 because the additional meat for mounting will make the antenna more secure. Sheet metal thickness of plastic on option #1 would be too weak.
This is the style I am referring to

Is this regarding the 3rd gens as well??

I noticed that the BD version had the cargo light areas angled slightly downward.

I sprayed the entire board. Then used a rag soaked in acetone to wipe off the LEDs before the paint dried. They look a sight better blacked out.

I’ll post up some pictures of it installed tomorrow. The looks and light output are huge improvements vs. stock. MESO customs earned a spot on the toolbox with this mod!

Thanks to a TW member for checking both for me:thumbsup: Few little details to change, but overall they look badass!
I'm really torn on which model I like.. the 5 row looks very symmetric, but the 4 row lights the bed up like no other...

@mesojdm is it possible to do a 4 config without the bed lights angled? That’s my dream

I gotta be totally honest, you knocked both version out of the park @mesojdm ! People are going to be very happy with either the KC or the BD version. I'm glad I was able to help out and provide some notes on the 2ndGen v1. Those small tweaks will make it killer and should be good to go from there!

They both look amazing and add a lot to the overall appearance of the truck.
I prefer the 4 row because of the angled lights and the stealthy look it adds to the back. I cant wait to own one!
