    Since the duct wasn’t even connected the attic insulation plugged the outlet. Probably why it burned out, luckily it didn’t start a fire. The previous owner was a carpet salesman with a third grade education. ;)

    Speaking of DIY. Went to the hardware store this afternoon and raised the back of the driver's seat with 1-1/2 inch steel spacers and some longer bolts. Whole thing cost me a whopping $12 and my lower back and hips can't thank me enough.
