Pelfreybilt Liquidation Today

As a lot of you probably know, BAMF bought the remaining inventory from the Pelfrey auction, and are having a liquidation sale yesterday and today. If anyone is in the San Diego area today and wanting to make some cash (or make some people who previously ordered really happy), I’m sure there are quite a few of us on here that are interested! Also if anyone nabs a second gen hybrid bumper and wants to sell it, hit me up!

 

Do you know if any of the inventory will be available on BAMF site?

 

I haven't heard any news about it yet, I'm not sure. Literally no one makes a hybrid like Pelfrey, and I've been waiting to buy a bumper since mid last year. I've almost buckled twice and bought a plate bumper, At the Helm makes a good looking plate bumper that seems really good quality, but I'm waiting to hear any news about this first.

 

Last I heard they had 20 left

At the end of yesterday there were 20 2nd Gen hybrid bumpers available.

My understanding is anything not sold today will be loaded onto a truck and moved to BAMF in Benecia, CA where it will be made available online with option for freight shipping.

Brute Force Fab makes a hybrid bumper.

 

Thanks for the link! I've seen the BFF Hybrid before, never in person, but from the few photos I've seen, I'm a much bigger fan for the angle of the bottom bars from the Pelfrey than I am for the BFF.

 

I know what you mean, I think he had an older version with the different angles. The ones I've seen recently look different/better, like what @916TacoTruck has now.

 

Just bought myself a pair of sliders and another pair for a buddy. I unfortunately don't have the capital to buy anything extra. Steady flow of people coming in to pick through the remaining inventory!

I just told myself I can't spend any more money... but if this results in some discounted sliders available for shipment I don't think I can say no.

 

Does anyone else feel bothered by the liquidation of remaining inventory?

They are selling items already purchased by defrauded customers.

 

They made a post to contact them with the info showing you had paid and were refused refund by the bank/CC. They put those orders to the side for them.

 

So everyone was paid back?

That makes me feel better.

 

The one's that contacted them are getting the stuff they paid for that was in the warehouse from what I'm understanding.

The rest is being sold to try and get their money back from buying the auction. That's the whole reason they bought it to begin with was to get the one's that got screwed their product.

 

yeah immediately after the auction ended, @jberry813 made a post asking anyone that had gotten burned by Pelfry and not reimbursed by their bank to contact him and/or Jlee with their proof of purchase and they would make sure they got their products. From the photos they posted of the warehouse, there were hundreds of other products not claimed, unassembled parts, equipment, etc. and they just want to offload as much of it as they can to lighten the load they have to carry back up to the Bay area.

 

Ok so BAMF is buying and selling to help fund getting people some funds back?
