Thought about it actually...but I just installed the snorkel on the other side and don't really want to cut into a new fender again lol.

I'm glad this didn't happen on the snorkel side or I'd be in real trouble with the a-pillar mount and all.

I performed the A/C mixer upgrade to get defrost without running the A/C compressor.

just found this, only 10 miles from me but of course they just closed for the weekend and Monday's a holiday. Gonna have to wait until Tuesday but it looks promising. Not sure if it's the exact red I need but I can always paint it.

Defrost is worthless without AC compressor though....

Most of the time, yes. I have found a few times where I just needed to blow a little air on the windshield to keep breath from fogging it up a tiny bit and don't need the full A/C running. Also, if I want to circulate air more evenly than the uneven dash vents, I use this as well.

So you just hit the AC button now if you want full defrost ability?

No. The normal knob position for defrost is the normal defrost that forces A/C on.
When you turn it one more click (now allowed because I removed some plastic) it still blows out of the defrost vent but doesn't send the signal to turn on the A/C.

My alignment cams are siezed and my bushings show signs of dry rot. Going to replace the cams with OEM, looking for suggestions on LCA replacements. I don’t go off road much, and she’s not my daily driver. I don’t need anything extreme or too expensive; just something reliable that won’t crush my wallet. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Looking at Moog LCA, anyone have any issues with them?

Moog or 555 should be fine. Look at lowrangeoffroad.com

That looks awful! When I first read your post I figured it was just a good sized dent but damn that looks horrible. I feel better about the dent in mine now

No if anything it should come better. But that disent mean I'd want my large investment of a shock which id olanto rebuild over and iver fir yyears to come to last as long as possible. Vs most with a throw out shock happy to just replace the shock as they fail ever 2-3 years.

Just an eyesore more than anything, got the mirror and fender ordered and some oem paint, hopefully by next weekend she'll be restored to her former glory. Door and hood didn't take any structural damage so I got lucky there. At least nothing mechanical was compromised, could've been worse.

Thats what happens when you 4lo yourself into a wall of mud and dirt lol
