What would Jesus do? Trade in for a manual, or pick up this BRZ for $11,500?

Don’t mind my auto truck at all, but I miss rowing my own gears.

Going to lose around $3k on trade and technically more like $6k after I paid insurance and taxes, but it’s whatever.

Considering trading my truck in for a manual or picking up this Subaru BRZ with 50k miles for $11,500.

What would the Jesus of Tacoma World do?

Financially? Keep your truck. But if you're gonna regret not doing it and you're not strapped, just get it over with.

I’d say if you’re going to lose 6k on trade you might as well save up 5k more and get a BRZ and keep the Tacoma

    Thanks guys!

Financially I figure two cars are better than one for the small difference

Insurance should reimburse whatever you paid and you should get that back, or they'll apply it towards your new car's insurance and you'll get the difference back. Unless you have crappy insurance.

As someone has had a BRZ (heavily modified), keep the truck.

Unless of course you are itching for a rwd two seater car...that you want to mod. Then get the BRZ.

I would keep the truck, but in your terms of rowing your own gear, it's better to go with Johnson and Johnson lotion and Pornhub.

I’ve always preferred big booty ebony milfs and Jergen’s to driving a manual anyhow...

First of all if you are comparing a BRZ to a Tacoma, then you don’t need a truck. Second I would just do tires for autox, you add boost or suspension and your in the street mod class and will get slaughtered even in most small regions. I had to run street mod in my wrx because I modded it before I got into autox and was forced to run against STIs, Evos and corvettes. I only won when they didn’t show up haha.

I traded in my BRZ for my Tacoma. Tacoma is faster, without the BRZ power adder. :)

BRZ’s are fun little cars for sure.

The question is whether to have a Tacoma and a BRZ, or trade the auto Tacoma in for a manual...

Gotcha, I read it as one or the other. But I can see what you meant now. Similar to my plan. When this truck is paid off I want to pick up an Evo to play with and get back into Autox. But the kids need to get older so I have a little more free time first.
