Good luck. When I caught my carbine length set the seller had a handful and there were several more in the $240-$260 range. I couldn't find any the other day (I may have missed on the search, but who knows). I managed to score the rifle length KAC RAS for $115.

How do you like it so far overall? Picking mine up from jail on Sunday and not sure if I want to keep it NIB to trade it away or start modifying it. Heard they have extractor issues.

For the sake of "just because" I decided I am going to move the milsurp IR light to the AR pistol since it is more retro than my carbine, so I ordered an Inforce WML w/IR and thorntail mount to replace it. I figured while I was at it, I'd update the light on my AK SBR as well, so I got another (non-IR) Inforce for it. I've really resisted trying the Inforce lights, but $130 for an IR Inforce vs $350+ for a Surefire 300v makes it worth the risk.

Went to my buddies gun shop today and dropped off some stuff for my 19x build. Also talked myself into moving forward with a long time want.... ar10 pistol. Ordered a SLR receiver set and 9.5” handguard.

Thompson Center TC/R22. Fun little .22 , has a threaded barrel, for some reason am really tempted to put a suppressor on it. Is that silly?

    500 rounds of 7.62x25, for .22lr prices..

anybody on here speaking polish/czech, tell me more about this ammo
    Specifically, steel cored or no?
P.O. couldn't tell me, and I'm not about to fire something I'm not 100% confident in.

    IMG_20190216_222742.jpg

There is quite a bit of variation depending where it was manufactured but some 7.62 was steel cored (making it no good for indoor ranges, and generally more dangerous) some of it was manufactured for a submachine gun with a much hotter load and shouldn't be fired from handguns..

    IMG_20190212_155556.jpg

I'm hoping someone here has been through this, my google-fu is raising more questions than answers.

    prebaleno l = repacked
paskovane = stripper clips i think

    65 grain projectile..

    thoughts?

it failed the magnet test, (it's very magnetic) but I've been told that may just be a bimetal jacket, and steel casing.. I intend to pull a round apart and measure its parts, and determine the projectile materials.

you are probably picking up the steel casing. I would also say its corrosive so if you do shoot make sure you clean your gun afterwards.

definitely corrosive primers, yup. I still enjoy the process of cleaning my firearms after each use..

    verdict is steel cored..
