trying to get my truck set up to be able to camp/hunt this fall by my lonesome. nobody wants to hunt ohio/wv with me anymore

i dont do much gun hunting. but ill learn to shoot long range if u know a place

 

what do you consider long range? Depending on that, I know a guy who can teach you.

Waaaay back when, I was a member of the Quantico Shooting club. It was open to all branches and you had to have their armorers inspect all firearms before shooting there. So I was having them check my Rem 700PSS so I could shoot. A Marine asked if I was shooting the Any Gun/Any Sight match coming up. When I heard the distances I replied "Shit dude. I am Army. If it is that far away I call for artillery."

Boom, boom! With the right gun, ammo and some training it is possible though. It is cool to hear that metal clang a few seconds later and know you are capable.
