Yeah. Always wanted to get training and enough trigger time to be able to shoot beyond 300m accurately and consistently but never really made it a priority. I kinda get the same satisfaction shooting suppressed subs at my pepper poppers 100yds away. Not quite the same, but I can do it in my yard. :D

Glass always helps. 300-500 is simple with irons and i think most marines train to like 500/800? Army is mostly 300 but most can’t see or hit it consistently. I need To get back out and shoot I’m getting Rusty.

Yeah shooting longer takes patience and putting some time and work in. I spent slot of time on the range as a DS and had several snipers buddies with some nice guns show me some stuff. We use to qualify on 300 standing and i would Routinely grab the private’s rifles who couldn’t hit shit and score 30-34 to show them it wasn’t the rifle lmao.

I bet a paycheck against a loudmouth who said there is no way I can hit a target at 500 without glass. I said give me 10 rounds to zero and have the money ready.

Oh, I was just talking about driving around fire roads. Not doing any shooting today. Just learning what my 16 Taco is capable of. It’s got a crazy “crawl” mode and more capabilities than I probably need. I got it a month ago and I am anticipating pulling a Jon boat and loading up with camping and fishing gear.

Looks good, are those Pros for the ditch lights? I just ordered some XL80s so I'd like to see the difference. You going to bring some offroad alliance stickers to the next meet?

Sports for the squadron amber fogs and amber behind the grille, squadron pros on the ditch lights. Had XL80's on my Raptor and they are much brighter than the Squadron Pros.

Can definitely bring stickers and I'll try and grab some t-shirts too. Speaking of, when is the next meet?

Well, depending on target size I could do that with a pistol.

I've shot an under folded ak in 7.62 iron sighted at an 18 inch by 18 inch plate , at 400 yards.

BTDT. Also dispelled that whole myth about the rifle is zeroed to the person, not the bore shooting someone else's rifle and hitting just fine.

Which target tho? The USMC KD targets are kinda cheating.

I forgot to respond to this yesterday while on the trails.

When we did Adams rear shock relocate, we fully drooped the rear end (keep in mind he has stock rear hangers). With it fully drooped, we disconnected the b110. Neither the leafs drooped anymore, nor did the shocks extend any.

So dakars mounted in a stock fashion with b110 were the perfect pairing. With your shackle flip I would assume your leafs are out flexing your shocks and your shocks are acting as limiting straps right now.

Yeah that’s better than ours but i prefer 50/200 meter for combat and personal shooting.

    You remember correctly!

I don't know, hitting a human sized B-Mod target (in the black of course) at 500 yds with just iron sights is pretty good. Just sayin'...:D

We used to shoot a 500 target on intro day to show them it’s possible. Then we blew up watermelons, pumpkins, chickens and we got some of those zombie dummies to show ballistics.

    It is pretty good.

Now take that 6ftx6ft white square away that surrounds and highlights that silhouette and place it against a simple dirt or brush background and it is impressive.

The 500 is big but still shows good marksmanship and builds confidence for young troops.
