It blows my mind how people see negatives in what they are doing. Their goal was to help those that got shafted by their lendors or that put down cash deposits and never got their products. They are proving there are good people in the world (TacomaWorld).

Now they're whining about this liquidation sale once the aforementioned people were taking care of. Only problem I have is that I don't live on the west coast..

But every bit of that product was sold at one point and never received. They advertised it here and on their IGs but how far did they reach out to all the Tundra, 4runner, or other forums to make sure everyone on the huge list was reconciled before selling. I think that's the point of some. Also as soon as it was won and before people even knew there was going to be any sort of sell off they came out of the wood work wanting product. That was the other point. The community acted like flies on shit.

That one guy that was bidding and did some Maths knew exactly what the deal was. If I were a betting man you'll see very similar NEW Pelfreybilt product on the streets in the future.

I know I saw posts on some reaching out to T4R forums but I'm not on those to speak to.

I thought the scumbags bought a tundra to start developing products for (and the GX470/80 IIRC) but I thought those products were still in the R&D phases and no "real" products were available.

I know they were reaching out to customers with invoices attached to any product in the warehouse. Jerry and Jason had both mentioned that.

Things could always be done better regardless of what it is. With the monetary investment of this and not wanting to spend moore money on countless semis and getting investors repaid, I can see it from their point of view to try and offload what they can and bring back the remaining stock to BAMF to deal with at a later time. I don't remember seeing a list of people that purchased products and out of those who all go their money back. I think the focus was those who paid cash and couldn't get a return; at the very least get what they paid for; local people and local sales.

If people got their money back in full from their lendors, do they really deserve a chance at product they likely replaced with any of the other TW armor vendors?

Lastly, about your point of newly manufactured PB gear in the future, I can see that happening. Don't doubt it..

I am fully with you on your first points. I just think it's funny how there was a select group from the community that jumped on this before anything was set in stone. I am not trying to downplay what those guys did to try and help as best they could within the time frame they had. I think they did good. Personally though even at deep discounts I wouldn't want any of that product on my truck just out of morals. If I already had it like you before the implosion then that's a different story. But jumping on it like a vulture because it's PB and still seemingly having a cult like following for that product boggles my mind.

It's true. I did have their product from before this all blew up; One piece from someone, I feel, got insanely lucky to receive new products right before it all blew up and has remained VERY silent on this matter.

What's done is done and my armor will stay; can't really afford new shit unless I sell this cult gear. I still have my ways of showing my disgust both in posts on here and "silently" on the rig:

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

My apologies. Worst part about that sticker was having it so long before I actually had rigids on the truck.

Well glad your friend got something right before the ship sank and you were able to pick that up from them. I love the Rigid sticker as well wish it came with my Rigids.

@geekhouse23 @ovrlndkull I went back and did some looking. I guess stairgod was banned by a mod, then jberry unbanned him a couple min later. They just reply banned him from the pelfrey thread now. Then the fallout trickled into the NJ BS thread if you want to continue the reading.

I had to look, was kind of a train wreck. The egging on stuff I didn't agree with.

Lesson here is don't have a different opinion whether it is right or wrong. The lynch mob bandwagon is swift and ruthless.

Yeah I see no problem with how they’re handling it. They knew from the get go there’s no possible way to make everything whole or everyone happy. Just isn’t gonna happen. But if they can help out 20 of the 100 that got screwed (making up numbers) then that’s better than 0 of the 100 getting screwed.

If I still lived in cali I would be all over that sale.

Still hoping for a blue sea plate once it's all over and done with. They said they have tons of them.

This that and the other thing.
im sure they wanted to help out more people then they did. but that auction sold for way more then I think they were expecting/wanting. they need to at least make their money back. there are good people in the world, but no one is going to pay out of pocket to get someone a damn bumper. im sure they had the full intent of righting many more wrongs, but 131k is a lot of money to recoop. BAMF even said that in their video on IG, so if people thought they were going to help out every single person that got wronged, well they thought wrong. they may be good people but they aren't stupid either, they aren't going to take a financial hit. a good way to keep costs down is to have to relocate less product, so selling it off on site at low prices is a easy quick way to bring in money to be able to afford to rent trucks to move the rest of the product hahaha and honestly, I would have bought a front bumper for a good price. I have morals, but I am also not stupid. yes what pelfrey did was shit, but you know what, that product isn't theirs anymore, all I see is a good priced, well built, front bumper. the money isn't going to pelfrey, its going back into the pocket of a couple guys that tried to help some people out.
