Yeah, the kids nowadays have optics for use on the KD range. Makes it a little easier I am sure (never fired the KD with optics).

Shit. Had my annual eye exam Saturday. Doc said the “B” word and I told him to go pound sand and I’m looking for a new Doc. Lmao. Kidding of course. Getting old sucks.

 

Got my oil changed at jiffy lube... don’t flame, have very little free time between work and kids.

Anyways noticed a metallic reverberation a couple days later and when I would close the doors. Checked out the skid plate and noticed it’s missing a bolt.

I’m actually out right now without tools to get the other one off, but was going to swing by Lowe’s. Does anyone have the size of the bolt and washer so I can pick one up?

Yeah optics are fun and also help with better target identification as it’s hard to make out who is a bad guy with irons at 3-500. Plus most people aren’t taking that shot unless they are shooters or over watch. I like Red dots for faster stuff and glass for scoping out the area doing recon and making longer shots even just to be more accurate at 3-500. Haven’t shot glass in so long though i would to spend a good bit do time getting back on it.

 

Just buy a new one from the dealership. The part number is 90080-11373.

 

Yeah but AK sucks unless under 150-200 unless modified. That’s actually pretty good on an AK. Now AR10 would be different.

 

Isn’t it an m12? I canT remember stock skids haven’t had them for so long.

 

12 mm socket sounds right for the head size, but head size doesn't determine bolt size.

 

I’m at Lowe’s now. Will just get a few at that size and cut if needed
