Alright fellow Texans...this sound about right?

Made an overnight trip from Huntsville to Dallas and back. 166.5 miles. I have the Carista OBD dongle linked to my tablet running DashCommand On the way up the Taco reported 15mpg while DashCommand reported 16.1mpg. I didn't reset avg speed so it's obviously off.

While in Dallas I removed the permanently mounted filter from the air intake. Months ago I upgraded the replaceable filter. Then made the same trip back home. Same distance/speeds/conditions/use of speed control.

Taco reported 1.7mpg increase while DashCommand reported 0.8mpg better.

With both getting data from the same source, I'm guessing the Taco is including previous data where the app only the current data. Seems a 0.8mpg increase just from breathing a little better. I realize a longer trip would be a better judge, but that's what I have so far.

And, when you arrive first at CoTA, at 0 dark thirty, it IS dark!

Thanks to @Misplaced Nebraskan , @NeonTaco , @Pyrotech & @Firsttaco4x4 for being our Chef, Cooker Suppliers, and HUGE help! I got about 70 pix to go through during the race, so there will be probably 3 posts so they fit. Great crowd, and most all the food got eaten by the end. Nice of Mr. Sunshine to finally show up and stay out too! I know you will see some new trucks today! Stay tuned!

Not the best ending but could’ve been a looooot worse. We did royal gorge -> Dino falls -> carnage canyon -> babyback -> international highway -> bronco buster -> greenhorn 1

    Greenhorn 1 is gnarly man
