Jon getting banned seems a little political to me.

 

I did not completely agree with Jon and I told him that via text but if a bit of an escalated argument is reason for a perma ban then Hunter should have been history YEARS ago

 

Well Fawk!!!!!!! There goes getting to actually read and learn from his posts and get some good information. I would agree with Jon on what he said it was my thoughts exactly a couple nights ago was discussing the situation with another member.

Also like others have said it's hilarious to me the fanboy mentality over PB stuff even at their liquidation because they suck at business and are shysters. I wouldn't be caught dead putting any of that crap on my truck even it were given to me. Hell if I had it on before the dumpster fire I would probably ditch it and buy from another company.

 

The hard part to swallow is the obvious baiting by the mods. Then the sheep falling in line with the lit torches.


I can understand a difference of opinions and maybe a PM saying stop stirring the pit etc etc.


But that was a straight set up, no matter which angle you look at it from.

 

The West Coast PB crowd has done that several times when other companies started up making armor for Tacomas. It isn't their first rodeo nor their last. They do what they can to squash or squander competitors or people with opinions different from theirs.

Wasn't SOS the fabricator that took a bunch of heat from TW for stealing stuff (I think it was website artwork or written policies) right out of the Pelfreybilt website....

 

Not just Mobtown, SOS, 4x, BFF, etc. All the small startups had to deal with that crowd coming with pitchforks to try and destroy them the funny thing is they are all thriving and PB shut down yet the crowd still seems to have allegiance to them for some odd reason.

 

Not sure about the artwork or policies but the PB fanboys said he copied the PB bumper to the T. Yet if you look back at the 1st gen SOS bumpers all the way to the current one I have they look nothing like a PB. The angular design was out with SOS even before All-Poo so if anyone copied a design it was All-poo. Plus IMO there are a lot of other bumpers out there that look a lot closer to PB than SOS.

 

Not 100% sure if it was SOS (I'm like 99% sure) but either way, they turned around and blamed it on someone else (someone under their payroll)

I'm not a pelfreybilt fanboy by all means, what they did was fucked up... but going as far as selling my shit and getting new stuff because they screwed other people is a stretch too.
