AZ BS thread...

Ya I know about all that stuff lol its more of a "I cant so I want too" kinda thing lol

 

getting your truck "race ready" is a LOT more money then you would think. its cheaper to buy a used race truck off of Race-Dezert then it is to build a DD into one.

My truck isn't even close to make it race-able. still needs another $4kish plus spare parts and entry fees

 

Oh there is no way I would even think about racing my truck, I just think it would be really cool too but no way would it last or be safe

 

i spent about 7 years to build my race truck. lots of time and money. and now it's just sitting there b/c i can't find a sponsor that will fork up the $500 per race entry fee. Racing is cool and all, but it's expensive if you're on your own. Right now I'm waiting for ASCC to start back up again in October. Their race fees are only $150, it's here in PHX, and its a track setting which is nice when you have a small team.

and like alex said, it's cheaper to just buy a used one. I might just put mine up for sale soon.

What class if your truck?

as For sponsors i hear ya. All of the shops and things are hurting for business so no one can spend the cash for the races.

 

It's a class 7 Ranger. Here's an old picture of it.

That thing is sick man. I'll have to hit you up soon once it dries out here and we can take my tuck out and maybe you can help me tune my triple bypasses in the rear because I have no idea what I'm looking for in feel and how much to turn the compression and rebound at.

I don't mind it... it's AZ. I just hope the Monsoons actually start kicking in... then it's epic. Sucks trying to do stuff like mod the truck though lol... I'll just stay inside with the a/c
