Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I’m the same. Downloaded x86. Uninstalled FM. Reinstalled, “run as administrator” and still get the cant run on your pc error.

 

I installed the x64 2015 redistributable and mine now works. (My OS is 64 bit)

 

Well, it worked on my descktop but not my laptop running bootcamp. Guess it needs some updates.

 

What do I do about this? Error downloading file C:/Users/..../<tune file name here>

appears on the bottom of FM after i fill out the fields and select download

Clearing learning currently then Im off.
Im more interested in locking it in 5th or 4th for the hill climb. stupid auto trans decides its got enough to upshift to 5th on the climb and 2 seconds after it does it shoots to 3rd to compensate for the bad idea of going to 5th in the first place. Now Im gonna pull that whole freaking hill in 4th like it should stock.

 

I am logged in as admin as always. I'm really hoping to get this working as the bouncing idle is driving me nuts so I determined. everything in the flash manager works just can't get the buttons in p5flash to not be greyed out. The sad part is im in the IT field and can't figure this out. It must be that the new flash manager didn't care over the registration somehow. Matt now what do I do?

 

Mat, I installed both of the missing.dll and I am still getting the same error, this is not easy

 

maybe you are trying to download a file that does not exist or not supported for your ECU version?

what tune file exactly are you trying to download

 

All the tabs are greyed out on toy flash? Do I have to have a registration key back before this will work? I just submitted my system ID

 

Whats up with the USB port? My surface pro(2017) only has 1 usb port and its 3.0

 

Pasted run.dll in system32 and ms.dll into ovtune folder?

I got this, then I realized that Mat said my file was available yet. I will wait for him to get the rest uploaded.

 

You have to install all files

 

Mine is fixed. Was missing various dll files. x86 redistributable was too old for my computer. used the x64 redist file

I was able to get the 04A61 from the P5 flash manager as usual just fine.
