@OVTune I didn't have the dropdown boxes for "options" until Purge-> Install-> Update steps were complete. I think some users may be jumping straight to the drop down menus before following the steps listed in your INSTRUCTIONS.

 

So I’m a dongle user, what’s the gray text at the bottom mean for me? Fellow dongle users?

 

the old pcmflash works fine but the new p5flash is all greyed out. I will try with the pcmflash utility and see if that will upload the file successfully.

 

Might have been posted already... but, is the gear lock option also the performance tune + gear lock combined?

 

Okay so that is why... you are a dongle user trying to use P5Flash which is for dongle-less.

You use the updated dongle user software from the link in the blog post at the bottom.

You're not stuck, you just need to update your dongle softare. from the link.. in the blog post. at the bottom.

all the buttons still work in the old p5flash but the new one is all greyed like others I see on here having the same issue. what could be the cause?

Please submit a ticket I'll help you further via zendesk right now. I think you're having trouble with using the wrong flash software for your kit.

Is the new flash manager 32 bit or 64bit? My windows tablet I'm running it on only supports 32bit windows.
