What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

IMO, I would rather pay that for quality and support a local vendor @JLee BAMF instead of $400 on a TRD Pro grill made of plastic................

 

I like how the engine looks without the dust cover on. Are you going to keep it off? I wonder if there are any cons to keeping it off, or if it’s just for decoration?

All I absolutely know is I want the lower switches to be from left to right- truck bed outlet, bed light rocker, rear window

I was thinking 3 small Toyota switches for the top but I’m not sure yet

 

It's for decoration and a small degree of noise abatement. I actually took the cover off a month ago. Yesterday I took out the two stud pins and the cross bar. Unlike 2nd gens, the stud pins have more DIY-friendly 10 mm wrench flats instead of E-torx drive heads.

 

Installed some BD S2 Flush mounts today!

 

So the labor breakout was pretty basic—$750 including a basic alignment at install and includes a secondary alignment at 1000 miles.

The secondary alignment required but the front should settle after a month of normal use and will need the preload adjusted and a realignment.

I’m really happy so far. It’s honestly one of the better quality rides I’ve experienced.

 

I recall a couple years ago guys giving $600+ for those plastic, gaudy looking pro grille's.

 

Still able to fold up seats? Any issues with it sliding side to side?

Bezel looks good! How'd you do it? I was thinking about a Pro grill but this could be a good option.

 

Upgraded rear drum brakes in my ‘16. OR

Installed Tommy Callahan brake pads (no gaurentee on the box) for better stoping power, along with Meat Wagon avoidance.

 

Installed my gasshole while i wait for meso to release the tail light mod

 

Look if you want them to take a shit in a box and slap a guarantee on it then fine, he’s got time. But you shouldn’t have to get a good look at a T-Bone by sticking your head up a bulls ass....wouldn’t you rather take the butcher’s word on it?
